JobResourceSite.com

Welcome!

This site is for all who are searching for a job.  It is primarily directed to the job seeker in the United States as other countries may have different requirements.  It is dedicated to the enthusiastic, supportive members of Experience Unlimited and ROP who have assisted me so greatly in my own career development.

One of the most difficult things to grow accustomed to in the job search process is the amount of time it takes.  This site's goal is to decrease the amount of time you will need to spend searching through the Internet search engines by bringing together in one place information and links to information on all of the major aspects of job search.

I haven't tried to answer ALL of the questions you will have in your job search.  I HAVE tried to design this site to provide a good jumping off place for the rest of your Internet job search journey.

The Site Index button will take you to a site index with buttons leading to the topics of resumes, interviews, salary negotiations, coping with job loss, setting goals, organizing your search, conducting job search research, networking, informational interviews, phone skills, book recommendations and more.

The Internet Basics button links to some basic information on the Internet and how to conduct a more efficient search.

The Links button will take you to some helpful links which I have culled from some of the thousands available.  These should be a good starting point, you will undoubtedly find others during your job search to add to your own list, there are quite a number out there.

The list of Books I have found helpful in job search can be accessed from either the Links pages or from the Site Index.

The Search button sends you to a page which allows you to search the site by keywords.  There is also a table of topics, each of which links you to the primary page in the site where that topic is discussed (though you may find other references to that particular topic spread throughout the site).

If you wish to contact me, the Contact button will take you to a page which contains my contact information.  It also links to a Feedback page, which sends your comments & feedback to me, and a Guest Book page which lets you enter your comments in a page on the site.

I appreciate any suggestions you have which may assist in making this site an even better resource for all.  I also welcome comments as to whether you found this site helpful in your own job search.

Enjoy!
